DEPARTMENT OF OBSTETRICS AND GYNAECOLOGY
The department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology is one of the founding clinical departments of the hospital charged with the provision of excellent patients care, high quality research, training of resident doctors and community services.
As part of the departmental drive towards provision of subspecialty clinical services and training in the 4-core areas of interests in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, the department currently has four subspecialty units/teams namely:
- Gynae-oncology (Team A),
- Maternal-Fetal Medicine (Team B),
- Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (Team C),
- Urogynaecology (Team D).
Patients with medical and surgical conditions affecting the female reproductive system as well as pregnant women are managed in the department. The department also offers family planning services including counselling, as well as screening for cervical cancer and treatment of premalignant lesions to prevent cervical cancer.

CLINIC DAYS
- Antenatal care – Mondays to Thursdays 10am-2pm.
- Gynaecology clinics – Mondays to Thursdays 2:00-4:00pm
