The department of ophthalmology is a branch of medicine and surgery that deals with the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of eye disorders.
Different cadres of staff working harmoniously in the department include Ophthalmologists, Ophthalmic Nurses, Optometrist, Optician, Medical record officers as well as Health attendants. Other visiting staff from other departments include Anaestheologist, Anaesthetic Nurses, Anaesthetic and Biomedical engineering Technicians.
