Staff of Federal Teaching Hospital Katsina, Paediatrics Department during her Annual Get Together and Awards Presentation held on Friday 13th January, 2023 at the Hospital Paediatrics Complex.
The ceremony under the able leadership of Dr. Yekini Abiodun (HOD Pediatric department) marked the 5th edition. The Chief Medical Director FTHK, Dr. Suleiman B.M was ably represented by the DCMAC Training, Dr. Lawal Magaji, the Director Administration, also represented by Mal. Nura T. Gidado, Assistant Director Admin (General Admin). Other dignitaries in attendance were:
The Head of Nursing Services, Nrs. Saidu Suleiman A.M, Prof. Mutasim Ibrahim, a Consultant Paediatrics from AKTH also the Chairman of the occasion as well as other Heads of Department in the Hospital amongst other attendees.
Highlights of the event include speech by the Prof. Mutasim Ibrahim, a Consultant Paediatrics who commended the spirit of unity amongst all staff in the department. Also was the presentation of awards and certificates of excellence to all outstanding staff of the department.
Some of the awards presented were: Best Consultant of the Department which was won by Dr. Abubakar Sani Luga, Special Merit Award won by Rtd Nrs. Fatimah Abubakar and Special Recognition Award won by Dr. Habibu Bala, a visiting consultant in the Hospital and current Medical Director of General Hospital Katsina among others.
